​All of my work is made with stoneware or porcelain clay and fired to 1240-1280 degrees centigrade and as they are glazed, this makes them all watertight and dishwasherproof. You can even put them in the garden

The 'crackle' effect is achieved by applying sodium silicate to the the thrown piece before it is shaped. Please see
